Interested in saving and investing for financial freedom. Mid to late career IT worker with 20+ years in the state retirement system seeking alternate income through dividend growth investments. Really, investing is not that hard - own great businesses that consistently earn a lot of money, own them for the long term, and pay as little as humanly possible to acquire them.

Portfolio Business Plan - Own a portfolio of quality companies that have a safe and growing earnings and dividend history. Continue to acquire more ownership in these companies at a price that is at or below fair value. Pass ownership to the next generation and instill in them an attitude of custodianship and responsibility to preserve and grow the investments for each coming generation.
